  1.             This is Image'n'Bits v2.0 Release Notes:
  2.  
  3. POINTS OF INTEREST:
  4. - all files are compressed (even those with the "normal" looking
  5. extensions). The only way to install this program is by using the
  6. setup.exe program provided
  7.  
  8. - Image'n'Bits requires that share.exe is preloaded before you
  9. run Windows. Enter the folowing line into your autoexec.bat file:
  10.     SHARE.EXE /l:500 /f:20480
  11. If you encounter "too many windows open" error message when running
  12. Image'n'Bits or new document windows simply don't get created for some
  13. mysterious reason, increase SHARE command line arguments. For example, 
  14.     SHARE.EXE /l:750 /f:30720
  15.  
  16. - read online help if you have any questions -- it's pretty extensive.
  17.  
  18. LAST MINUTE FEATURES:
  19. The following last minute features did not make it into online help and
  20. printed documentation:
  21. 1. Zoom In and Out menu selections
  22. you can go up to 12 levels
  23. 2. Combine With File menu selection
  24. Allows you to combine multiple images together. You can add, subtract,
  25. overlay with transparency control, etc. This operation applies to true
  26. color images only. This menu selection will be grayed out (disabled) if the
  27. image is not a true color image.
  28. 3. Right mouse click on the album area brings up a popup menu selection
  29. which tiles objects. You can control the size of the tiled thumbnails
  30. by specifying how many thumbnails go across/down in the Options >> Tile Size
  31. dialog box
